In agreement with IQWiG, the German Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) withdrew the commission on 21.02.2008, as the manufacturer had announced the withdrawal of Exubera® from the market, and an assessment was therefore no longer necessary. By this time, work on the commission had already started (report plan and amendment completed and published). The withdrawal of the commission does not affect the rapid report on Exubera® commissioned by the G-BA, which was published in May 2006.
