Contributing expert knowledge
External experts with experience in certain medical specialties and methodological or clinical experience may participate as experts in the preparation of our assessments, reports and generally understandable health information.

Answer specific questions (using a questionnaire or in interview form) on therapeutic indications, treatments, and daily clinical practice for the following assessments:
- dossier assessments of drugs (AMNOG, § 35a SGB V)
- assessments of the potential of non-drug interventions (§ 137e SGB V)
- assessments according to § 137h SGB V on examination and treatment methods with high-risk medical devices
We are looking for external experts on the subject of minimum resource requirements in hospitals
Are you interested in providing external expert advice to IQWiG for commissions relating to minimum resource requirements in hospitals? If so, please fill in the form below.
The commissions relate to the service groups according to Annex 1 to §135e Social Code Book V. Please let us know for which groups you would like to get involved and outline your specific expertise in this area in the corresponding free text field.

Background
According to the hospital reform, the Federal Ministry of Health can commission IQWiG to prepare scientific recommendations on so-called minimum resource requirements for service groups in hospital care – detailed information (in German) can be found here. We are looking for external experts who would like to advise and support us in technical medical matters regarding these commissions.

Write reviews or discuss open questions on benefit assessments of drugs and non-drug interventions, describe health care standards for guideline synopses or prepare HTA reports as part of the “ThemenCheck Medizin” (HTA reports suggested by the general public).
What do you need to do?
Check whether we have announced current calls for tender. You can also use the IQWiG Info Service (only in german) to be informed about new calls for tender. If a call for tender is published, send us the required documents. In this way, you will participate in our tendering procedure.
Comment on report plans or preliminary reports of benefit assessments, guideline synopses or health information, preliminary HTA reports or drafts of the methods paper.
