Information Retrieval Meeting 2022: Into the digital age
At IQWiG's invitation, information specialists will discuss the digital transformation of their profession in Cologne in June. A few places are still available.
On the 10th and 11th of June, information specialists will meet to discuss current developments and their practical experiences with their profession's transition into the digital age. According to the organizers from the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG), a lively mix of presentations, workshops and networking is to inspire participants of the two-day, face-to-face event to exploit the possibilities of digitalization in order to improve their work.
Finally back to face-to-face meetings
After the pandemic-related postponement of the meeting originally planned in March, Siw Waffenschmidt, Head of the Information Management Department at IQWiG, is now glad that it will be possible to meet face-to-face and exchange ideas in Cologne in June. "We are particularly looking forward to seeing renowned international colleagues, for example from Bond University in Australia, NICE in the UK, AHRQ in the USA, and the Cochrane Collaboration. We are sure that many suggestions and ideas on the automation and digitalization of information retrieval will be provided."
The keynotes will be delivered by Ashley Elizabeth Muller of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Justin Clark of Australia's Bond University, Maria-Inti Metzendorf of Germany's Cochrane Metabolic and Endocrine Disorder Group, and Margaret Sampson of Canada's Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute. The meeting language is English.
