‘KVH aktuell Pharmakotherapie’ magazine

The short articles by IQWiG in the German magazine ‘KVH aktuell Pharmakotherapie’ provide an introduction to statistical principles and are intended to help physicians in private practice to read clinical studies critically and to evaluate these on the basis of the evidence.

Being able to interpret effects correctly is important for understanding clinical studies. However, just as important is describing effects correctly when communicating with patients – because inaccurate presentation can make the benefits and harms of a treatment seem greater or lesser than they actually are.
